Description
Pour this when you want a red that feels like instant payoff. Casarena WMS Selection Malbec is a dry Argentinian red wine that brings the classic Malbec hit, dark fruit up front, a little spice, and tannins that actually behave.
Malbec can swing from easy-going to seriously intense. This one lives in the sweet spot, bold enough for grilled food, friendly enough for a midweek glass.
- Appearance: Deep purple-ruby in the glass, the kind that stains the sides (and your expectations).
- Nose: Ripe blackberry and plum first, then a nudge of cocoa and warm baking spice.
- Palate: Dark fruit carries the sip, with a savoury, lightly spicy backbone and grippy-but-not-aggressive tannins.
- Body: Medium to full-bodied, with enough weight to stand up to bold flavours.
- Finish: Long and juicy, with a gentle dry pull that keeps you reaching back for food.
