Bottega Chardonnay Trevenezie 75cl

AED 40.00

Dry Italian Chardonnay from Trevenezie with crisp apple, pear and a clean citrus lift, this is the white wine you open when dinner needs something easy but not boring. Think Pinot Grigio drinkability with a little more roundness, made for seafood, creamy pasta, or a no-drama fridge-door pour.

Description

Bright, dry Italian Chardonnay from Trevenezie that gives you the easy refreshment of northern Italian white wine, with a little more body than your usual Pinot Grigio. This is the bottle for people who want something crisp and food-friendly, but still want enough ripe fruit to keep the glass interesting.

Trevenezie sits in Italy’s north-east, where cooler vineyard conditions help Chardonnay hold onto its freshness. That matters in the glass. You get clean orchard fruit, a citrusy snap, and a gentle roundness that makes it feel more complete than a basic “cold white wine and done” situation.

  • Appearance: Pale straw yellow with a clean, bright look in the glass.
  • Nose: Fresh apple and pear up front, with lemon peel and a light floral touch behind it.
  • Palate: Dry and crisp, with orchard fruit, citrus, and a soft hint of peach. The acidity keeps it lively without turning sharp.
  • Body: Light to medium-bodied, so it works before dinner but still has enough texture for food.
  • Finish: Clean and refreshing, with a short citrus and green apple finish that makes the next sip happen quickly.
  • Food pairings: Grilled prawns with lemon, creamy mushroom pasta, roast chicken, or a simple burrata and tomato plate.

If you usually reach for Pinot Grigio because it feels safe, this is a very easy sideways step. Same fresh Italian white wine energy, but Chardonnay brings a little extra roundness and ripe fruit. Nothing heavy. Nothing fussy. Just more going on.

Pour it well chilled for a weeknight dinner, a lazy seafood lunch, or that “we should open something while we cook” moment. It’s also a smart pick when you’re hosting people with mixed wine tastes, because it lands in that happy middle ground between crisp, dry, fruity, and clean.

Fun Fact: Bottega is based in Veneto and is best known worldwide for Prosecco, but the family also makes still wines from classic northern Italian regions, including Trevenezie.
