Description
Want an añejo that makes slow sipping feel like the obvious plan? Código 1530 uses 100% fully mature Blue Weber agave from Amatitán, Jalisco, then rests it for 18 months in French white oak barrels that previously held Napa Cabernet. Those wine-seasoned casks add dark fruit, vanilla and spice, while no added flavours or sweeteners keep the roasted agave easy to find.
- Nose: Roasted agave, vanilla, dried fruit and toasted oak.
- Taste: Caramel, dark cherry and baking spice, with a rich, rounded texture.
- Finish: Long oak warmth, cocoa and lingering agave pepper.
Pour it neat after dinner, or stir it into a tequila Old Fashioned when bourbon feels too predictable.
If reposado is your usual stop, this is the next step: deeper oak, darker fruit and the same clear agave backbone.
Fun Fact: Código 1530 takes its name from the year Amatitán was established as a Spanish settlement. Its once-private tequila recipe was guarded by five local families for generations.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS
We stand behind everything on our shelves. If you receive a defective bottle, we'll replace it with one of equal or greater value based on your original purchase price. If your replacement costs more, you just pay the difference including tax.
