About Glenfarclas
Founded in 1836 and owned by the Grant family since 1865, Glenfarclas is one of the last truly independent, family-run distilleries in Scotland. Nestled in the heart of Speyside, Glenfarclas—meaning “valley of the green grassland”—is known for its traditional methods, including the rare use of direct-fired copper stills, which help create its signature rich, full-bodied spirit.
The distillery is famed for its dedication to sherry cask maturation, aging whisky in Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon barrels to develop deep flavors of dried fruit, spice, honey, and malt. With cool warehouse conditions and minimal evaporation, Glenfarclas whiskies are well-suited for long aging, resulting in expressions that are both powerful and elegant.

We stand behind everything on our shelves. If you receive a defective bottle, we'll replace it with one of equal or greater value based on your original purchase price. If your replacement costs more, you just pay the difference including tax.
