Laphroaig Lore is one of the richest and most complex expressions from the iconic Islay distillery. Created by distillery manager John Campbell, this whisky is a blend of aged malts, with some whiskies as old as 21 years. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, quarter casks, and Oloroso sherry butts, Lore offers layers of peat smoke, seaside minerals, and notes of bitter chocolate. The palate delivers rich peatiness, a spicy chili bite, and hints of vanilla and chestnuts, while the finish is long, dry, with a lingering sweet aftertaste.
