What makes it fun is the balance. Cabernet Sauvignon brings the blackcurrant, grip, and backbone. Merlot rounds it out with plum, softer tannins, and a bit of velvet. Together, they land in that sweet spot for a dry red wine: layered enough to sit with for an hour, approachable enough to open without needing a speech first.
