Description
Big flavour, zero fuss, this is the aged dark rum you pour when you want your glass to taste like caramel, oak, and late-night dessert.
El Dorado 15 Year Old is a Guyana rum built for sipping. The point of the age statement isn’t bragging rights, it’s what time does to the spirit: deeper colour, rounder texture, and those layered notes that make you slow down mid-sip.
- Nose: Demerara sugar, vanilla, toasted oak, cocoa, and a little orange peel.
- Taste: Toffee and caramel up front, then baking spices (think cinnamon and clove), dried fruit, and a darker molasses note that keeps it feeling rich.
- Finish: Long and warming, with oak, cocoa, and lingering brown sugar.
Drink it neat first. Seriously. Give it a minute in the glass, then take a small sip and let it sit on your tongue. After that, add one big ice cube if you want it a touch more relaxed, or make a Rum Old Fashioned when you’re craving something spirit-forward but not whiskey-shaped.
