Glen Deveron 16 Year Old 70cl
AED 285.00
Speyside single malt with a grown-up dessert vibe, think baked apple, honey, and a little toasted nut. The 16-year age gives it that deeper, rounder flavour that makes you slow down and sip, neat or with one ice cube. If Glenfiddich 12 is your comfort zone, this is the richer, more layered next step!

Richer Speyside vibes, without the homework. Glen Deveron 16 Year Old is the kind of single malt Scotch whisky you pour when you want flavour that sticks around, not a quick sip that disappears.
That 16-year age matters because time in oak turns sharp edges into rounded, dessert-leaning depth. You get a whisky that feels settled and confident, perfect for slowing down after dinner, or upgrading your usual “one dram” moment on the couch.
- Nose: Baked apple, vanilla, honey, and a gentle toasted oak note.
- Taste: Toffee and orchard fruit up front, then warm spice and a lightly nutty, biscuity feel in the middle.
- Finish: Medium-long, with lingering honeyed oak and a soft, warming spice.
How to drink it: start neat to catch the honey-and-apple sweetness, then add a few drops of water to open up more vanilla and spice. If you’re an ice person, go for one solid cube, it chills it down without flattening the flavours.
This is a great bottle for the “I like Speyside, but I want more going on” crowd. If you’ve been living on approachable classics like Glenfiddich 12 or Glenlivet 12, Glen Deveron 16 feels like moving one shelf over into deeper, more patient whisky, still friendly, just more layered.
It also plays well with food when you’re feeling snacky, try it with salted almonds, shortbread, or a couple squares of milk chocolate. The nutty, toffee notes lock in and suddenly your snack game looks intentional.
Speyside as a region is known for fruit-forward, easy-to-love single malts, and this one leans right into that, but with extra oak-driven richness from the longer ageing. Translation: less “bright and zippy,” more “settle in, we’ve got time.”
Fun Fact: Glen Deveron is named after the River Deveron in Scotland, a nod to the water source that helps shape this whisky’s soft, Speyside-leaning style.
