Terlan Pinot Grigio 75cl

AED 125.00

Bright, Alpine-crisp Pinot Grigio from Terlan in Alto Adige, the part of northern Italy that does “refreshing” like it’s a sport. Description

Crisp, zesty, and quietly confident, this Terlan Pinot Grigio is the kind of Italian white wine that makes you stop mid-chat and go back for another sip.

It comes from Alto Adige, up in northern Italy where cooler mountain air helps grapes hold onto that mouthwatering freshness. So you get bright fruit, snappy acidity, and a clean mineral vibe, not a bland, watery white that disappears the second you swallow.

This is Pinot Grigio with backbone. It’s refreshing, sure, but there’s also real flavour definition here, juicy pear and apple, citrus lift, and a stony, almost salty edge that keeps it feeling food-friendly and interesting.

Tasting notes

  • Appearance: Pale straw, bright and clear.
  • Nose: Lemon zest, green apple, ripe pear, a hint of white flowers, and wet stone.
  • Taste: Crunchy orchard fruit and citrus up front, brisk acidity through the middle, dry and clean with a lightly savoury mineral note.
  • Body: Light to medium-bodied, energetic, not heavy.
  • Finish: Crisp and tidy, with citrus peel and a gentle saline, stony snap.

If you’re building your “reliable whites” shelf, this one earns its spot because it stays fresh while still bringing layered flavour. It’s the bottle you open when you want something easy to drink, but you still want to taste where it’s from.

It also plays nicely across a whole night. First glass feels bright and refreshing, later glasses start showing more of that mineral, savoury side, the bit that makes you go, “Okay, this isn’t just simple Pinot Grigio.”

Fun Fact: Cantina Terlan is one of Alto Adige’s most respected co-ops, and they’re known for whites that can age shockingly well thanks to the region’s cool climate and mineral-rich soils.
