Description
Want the cosy oak of an aged tequila without burying the agave? Código 1530 Reposado starts with 100% Blue Weber agave from Amatitán, Jalisco, then rests six months in French white oak barrels previously used for Napa Valley Cabernet. That unusual wine-barrel nap brings vanilla, toasted caramel and a flicker of red fruit, while roasted agave stays front and centre.
- Nose: Roasted agave, vanilla and gentle oak, with a faint red-fruit lift.
- Taste: Toasted caramel and cocoa meet earthy agave in a rounded, oak-framed sip.
- Finish: Lingering vanilla, pepper and dry oak keep each sip lively.
Sip it neat after dinner, or use it in a Reposado Old Fashioned with orange bitters.
If blanco tequila is your usual pour, this is an easy step into barrel-aged territory.
Fun Fact: The name nods to “El Código,” local tequila-making customs that the brand says have guided its recipe for generations.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS
We stand behind everything on our shelves. If you receive a defective bottle, we'll replace it with one of equal or greater value based on your original purchase price. If your replacement costs more, you just pay the difference including tax.
