Oxford Landing Chardonnay 75cl

AED 40.00

Easy-drinking Australian Chardonnay that leans into ripe stone fruit and a clean, lightly creamy finish, the kind of white wine that makes weeknight dinners feel sorted. Pour it cold with roast chicken or creamy pasta, and if you usually grab Pinot Grigio, this is your next step up in flavour without getting heavy.

Description

Ripe, friendly Chardonnay that actually gets finished, not forgotten in the fridge. Oxford Landing is the kind of Australian white wine you open when you want something crowd-pleasing, with enough fruit and texture to feel satisfying.

If “Chardonnay” has ever made you think “too oaky” or “too intense,” this is a smart reset. It’s built to be approachable and versatile, meaning it works whether you’re cooking or ordering in, and it doesn’t demand a lecture to enjoy it.

  • Appearance: Pale straw with a bright, clean look.
  • Nose: Ripe peach and nectarine, with a little citrus lift.
  • Palate: Stone fruit up front, a gentle creamy note through the middle, and balanced acidity that keeps it fresh.
  • Body: Medium-bodied, easy to sip but not watery.
  • Finish: Clean and tidy, with lingering fruit and a soft, rounded edge.

Food pairing: Nail it with roast chicken and lemon, creamy mushroom pasta, or grilled prawns with garlic butter.

This is also a handy “bring-a-bottle” white. It’s familiar enough for everyone at the table, but still clearly a Chardonnay, not a bland afterthought.

If you’re a Sauvignon Blanc regular, think of this as the slightly richer cousin, still refreshing, just with more roundness and comfort. If you live in Pinot Grigio land, this is a step toward more flavour without jumping straight into big, heavy whites.

Serve it well-chilled, then let it warm up a touch in the glass. You’ll get more of that peachy fruit and a smoother texture as it opens.

Fun Fact: Oxford Landing is an Australian wine label named after a historic river crossing on the Murray River, one of the country’s most important wine-growing lifelines.
