La Valiniere Graves Rouge 75cl
AED 73.00
Classic Graves red from Bordeaux, the kind of dry, food-friendly blend that makes weeknight steak and a Netflix binge feel like a plan. Think blackcurrant and plum up front, a little cedar and spice underneath, and enough structure to handle rich sauces without stealing the show.

Want a French red that feels instantly “dinner-ready”? This Graves Rouge from Bordeaux is that bottle. Dry, medium-bodied, and built for food, it hits the sweet spot between easy drinking and having enough backbone to keep things interesting.
In Graves, red wines are usually a Bordeaux blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Translation, you get ripe dark fruit from Merlot, plus that Cabernet grip and savoury edge that makes a proper glass with a meal.
- Appearance: Deep ruby with a clean, bright rim.
- Nose: Blackcurrant and plum first, then a more savoury turn, think cedar, dried herbs, and a touch of baking spice.
- Palate: Dry and balanced, with dark fruit, fresh acidity that keeps it lively, and fine tannins that feel firm without going full sandpaper.
- Body: Medium-bodied, so it works across a lot of foods (and moods).
- Finish: Lingering dark fruit with a gentle, earthy spice note that sticks around just long enough to make you pour another sip.
Food pairing:Bring this to roast lamb with rosemary, a peppery steak frites situation, or a mushroom burger with caramelized onions.
If your usual red is Malbec, this is a smart next step when you want the same dark-fruit comfort but with more lift and a more savoury, Bordeaux-style finish.
This is also a great “house red” for people who like to have one dependable bottle that can handle cheese boards, grilled meats, and saucy pasta without getting lost. Pop it open, give it a few minutes in the glass, and it starts showing more of that classic Graves character.
It’s from France, specifically Bordeaux’s Graves region, which is famous for reds that lean savoury and structured rather than jammy. In other words, it’s a food table wine in the best way.
Fun Fact: Graves is one of Bordeaux’s oldest wine areas, and its name literally points to the gravelly soils that help Cabernet ripen and give wines that classic, cedar-and-currant vibe.
