Chartron Trébuchet Bourgogne Pinot Noir 75cl

AED 100.00

Silky, bright, and unapologetically drinkable, this Burgundy Pinot Noir from France is all about red cherry, raspberry, and that little earthy “forest floor” thing Pinot lovers chase. Light-bodied and dry with fresh acidity, it’s a smart step up from basic Pinot, especially if you like your reds elegant, not heavy!

Description

Light-bodied red wine that still feels like a treat, this Bourgogne Pinot Noir from France is your weeknight Burgundy fix, all red fruit energy and gentle, savoury depth.

Pinot Noir is the grape here, and the vibe is classic Burgundy: dry, bright, and silky, not bulky or oaky. If you like the idea of red wine that won’t steamroll your food, you’re in the right place.

  • Appearance: Bright ruby red, clear and vibrant in the glass.
  • Nose: Red cherry and raspberry upfront, with a soft earthy edge (think dried leaves after rain) and a hint of warm spice.
  • Palate: Dry and fresh with juicy red berries, lively acidity, and light, fine tannins that feel more like a gentle grip than a chew.
  • Body: Light-bodied, the kind of red you can keep sipping without getting palate fatigue.
  • Finish: Clean and tidy, lingering on red fruit with a subtle savoury note that makes you want another sip.

Food pairing: Nailing dinner is easy here, try roast chicken with herbs, mushroom risotto, or salmon with a crispy skin and lemony butter sauce.

This is a great “training wheels off” Pinot Noir. If you’ve been buying simple, fruit-forward Pinot and want something that feels more grown-up (brighter, lighter, more layered), Bourgogne is the next step.

It also shines slightly chilled. Ten to fifteen minutes in the fridge takes the edge off and makes the red fruit pop, especially if you’re pouring it with lighter dishes or on a warm evening.

From a practical point of view, it’s the kind of bottle you can open without planning your whole night around it. It’s friendly, versatile, and doesn’t demand a steak to feel “worth it.”

Fun Fact: “Bourgogne” on the label is Burgundy’s wide-reaching appellation, meaning the producer can blend Pinot Noir from across the region to nail that signature Burgundy style in a more approachable way.
